Overview

Design Process

Ideation and Wireframes

During the ideation phase, we focused on creating a solution that was fast, intuitive, and user-friendly.We created low-fidelity wireframes to experiment with different layouts users could input their VIN, view details, and other features we could potentially add to the page.

These wireframes prioritized clarity ensuring users could complete their task quickly without confusion. After iterating internally, we presented our mid-fidelity wireframe options to stakeholders to gather feedback and align on the preferred layout. This helped us refine the structure, interaction flow, and information hierarchy before moving into high-fidelity visual design.

Iteration and Visual Design

Based on stakeholder feedback and insights from the wireframe review, we moved into the high-fidelity visual design phase. I iterated on layouts, typography, and component placement to ensure a clear hierarchy, intuitive user flow, and alignment with Mopar’s brand guidelines. For the details page, I explored additional features that users might find helpful beyond the basic vehicle information, aiming to highlight relevant content and enhance the overall experience. We also added a section encouraging users to sign in or create an account for a more personalized experience.

We implemented responsive design for both desktop and mobile platforms, ensuring a seamless experience across devices. Collaborating closely with the marketing team, we selected imagery and assets that complemented the design and reinforced brand consistency.
